Ghana Premier League Match Report: Kamaradini Mamudu’s late strike seals win for Medeama SC over Great Olympics

Medeama SC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Great Olympics on Sunday, with Kamaradini Mamudu’s late goal proving decisive.

The encounter, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, saw both teams battling fiercely in their Week 29 clash of the campaign.

Despite an intense first half marked by promising opportunities, neither side managed to break the deadlock, leading to a goalless draw at halftime.

However, the momentum shifted in the second half as both teams ramped up their efforts to secure the coveted three points.

In a nail-biting finale, Medeama SC finally found their breakthrough six minutes into injury time, courtesy of Mamudu’s solitary strike.

The narrow win propelled the defending champions to 4th place on the Ghana Premier League standings, while Great Olympics remain in 14th position, hovering just above the relegation zone.
