Germain side FSV Mainz sign Mustapha Riga’s son Jesaja Mustapha despite Villarreal and Feyenoord interest

Germain club FSV Mainz, have signed Dutch-born Ghanaian talented attacker Jesaja Mustapha from Dutch side Vitesse despite keen interest from Spanish side Villarreal and Feyenoord FC.

Jesaja who was born 15th March, 2007, is joining the German side on a three-year contract.

The promising talent looks destined for success after a superb spell in the Dutch clubs youth academy.

Jesaja has also featured six times for the Netherlands U16s. 

It’s understood that Vitesse sold Jesaja Mustapha to Mainz for just over €200,000, a fee that seems relatively high for a youngster yet to play a game of first-team football.

However, the 17-year-old has high potential and could be one to look out for in the near future. 

Spanish side Villarreal and Eredivisie Champions Feyenoord were had all shown interest in securing the signature of the highly talented striker.
