Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo on target for Elfsborg in Sweden

In the Swedish Allsvenskan match on Thursday, Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo stood out for Elfsborg, despite their 4-2 loss to IFK Norrköping.

Baidoo began the game at the PlatinumCars Arena and stayed on the field for 59 minutes before being substituted.

Despite Elfsborg having less possession and fewer shots on target compared to their opponents, Baidoo made a significant impact with a remarkable goal in the 30th minute.

Taking a pass from Simon Hedlund, he fired a powerful shot with his right foot from outside the box, finding the bottom left corner of the net.

Although Elfsborg went into halftime with a 2-1 lead, courtesy of a header from Hedlund in stoppage time, IFK Norrköping rallied in the second half.

Christoffer Nyman scored twice for the home team, with Ismet Lushaku and Arnór Ingvi Traustason also finding the back of the net.

Despite the team’s defeat, Baidoo’s performance was a bright spot for Elfsborg.

His compatriot, defender Terry Yegbe, also started for Elfsborg and played the full game.
