Karim Zito braces for tough second leg clash with Zamalek SC in CAF Confederation Cup

Dreams Football Club head coach, Karim Zito, anticipates a tougher challenge in the second-leg tie against SC Zamalek compared to the first leg.

Following a goalless draw with the Egyptian side at the Cairo International Stadium, the Ghana Premier League side heads into the game with the aim of securing a win to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup final in their debut tournament appearance.

Karim Zito expressed his thoughts on the upcoming match, saying, “We had a meeting before the beginning of our training that this stage we are going to play is more difficult than the first stage and is more open so it’s not about us coiling.

We are going all (out) to score but with caution,” during an interview with Citi Sports.

Dreams FC is set to host the second leg at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT.

Karim Zito and his team have arrived in Kumasi, preparing diligently for the much-anticipated game.
