Ivorian midfielder Jean Vital de part ways with Medeama SC

Medeama, a team in the Ghana Premier League, has parted ways with midfielder Jean Vital Ourega.

However, both parties have agreed to end the contract mutually.

“Medeama and Jean Vital Ourega have decided to go separate ways,” stated the club.

Vital played a crucial role in Medeama’s success, helping them win the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League title and reaching the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

The club expressed gratitude for his contributions and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Before joining Medeama, Vital played for Karela United, where he had a successful stint, making 35 appearances, scoring 3 goals, providing 13 assists, and winning 4 Most Valuable Player awards.

Vital’s football journey includes playing for various clubs such as African Sports and AS Denguele in Ivory Coast, Buildcon FC in Zambia, Rayon Sports in Rwanda, and TP Mazembe in Congo.
