“Haaland wouldn’t even start for Hearts of Oak if he was in Ghana”- former Hearts of Oak star Charles Taylor

“Haaland wouldn’t even start for Hearts of Oak if he was in Ghana”- former Hearts of Oak star Charles Taylor

A couple of weeks ago after a goalless draw between City and Arsenal at the Ètihad Stadium in the battle for the English Premier League title, Roy Keane, former skipper of Manchester United said, ” Erling Haaland plays like an English League Two striker”.

Many thought the former Ireland international was too harsh on the young Norwegian striker who has so far scored 31 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions in the current season for the Citizens.

In another harsh comment about Haaland, after he failed to impress against Real Madrid in the two legs in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, former Phobia forward Charles Taylor has criticised Haaland for being a very horrible striker.

“Haaland wouldn’t even start for Hearts of Oak if he was in Ghana.

Tell him that I said he will not start for Hearts of Oak if he travels to Ghana,” said Bismark Asampong Taylor on Angel TV.

Charles Taylor has earned the nickname ‘Ghana Roy Keane’ for his harsh comments about players just like what the former Manchester United skipper does on SkySports.

Erling Haaland has come under strong criticism for not being able to hit the standards required of him in big games.
