Simba, led by captain Mohamed Hussein, are gearing up to face one of Africa’s toughest opponents, Al Ahly, in the quarter-finals of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
Under the guidance of coach Abdelhak Benchikha, Simba is diligently preparing for the challenge ahead.
Despite the formidable reputation of Al Ahly, Hussein exudes confidence in his team’s ability to compete.
He acknowledges the opponent’s strength but remains optimistic about Simba’s chances, crediting Coach Benchikha’s tactical prowess.
“It is true that Al-Ahly is a great team and has a lot of experience in these stages.
But Simba has a great coach who knows his opponents well,” states Hussein.
“I believe that Abdelhak Benchikha’s methods and his commitment will be the key to success.”
Simba is fully focused on their objective of reaching the semi-finals, determined to overcome the challenge posed by Al Ahly.
