Medeama SC announce new headline sponsor after Gold Fields terminate sponsorship deal

Nguvu Mining Limited has been named as the new sponsor of Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club for the 2023/24 season.

Following the decision of Gold Fields Ghana Limited to cancel its sponsorship arrangement with the team, Nguvu Mining has become the club’s headline sponsor.

Gold Fields wrote to the Tarkwa-based team, indicating their refusal to renew their sponsorship arrangement, a move that George Mireku Duker has urged them to reconsider.

Nguvu Mining, on the other hand, has stepped in to support the team, which has also acquired a ticket to represent Ghana in this season’s CAF Champions League.

Details of the club’s agreement with Nguvu will be revealed at a press conference on Friday, October 6, according to the club.
