The conclusion of the latest season of the Ghana Premier League marked the expiration of Ampadu’s contract with Legon Cities FC.

Having contributed four seasons to Liberty Professionals from 2016 to 2020, Ampadu’s journey led him to Legon Cities in 2020, augmenting the team’s lineup in preparation for the 2020–21 Ghana Premier League season.

Ampadu’s impressive showings in the Ghana Premier League earned him a call-up to the Ghana U23 national team in 2019.
