Gladson Awako advises Medeama, Dreams FC to lower their expectations ahead of 2023/24 CAF Inter-club competitions

Experienced Ghanaian midfielder, Gladson Awako, has offered valuable advice to Medeama SC and Dreams FC as they prepare for their African campaigns.

.

Following their triumph in the Ghana Premier League last season, Medeama SC will represent the country in the CAF Champions League in the upcoming season.

On the other hand, Dreams FC, having won the MTN FA Cup, will participate in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Speaking to Akoma FM, Gladson Awako urged both clubs and their fans to temper their expectations as they enter the CAF inter-club competitions.

“The performance of Medeama and Dreams FC in the just ended season wasn’t that bad, especially from where they (Medeama) emerged from to snap the league and how Dreams FC also snapped the FA Cup

He continued, “My reason is premised on the fact that the quality in our league now cannot be compared to what we used to have in the past where Kotoko and Hearts dominated Africa.”

Both Medeama SC and Dreams FC will soon discover their opponents for the preliminary rounds of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, respectively.
