Simba SC, the Tanzanian football club, has announced the departure of Ghanaian forward Augustine Okrah with immediate effect.

Okrah, who previously played for Asante Kotoko SC and Bechem United in Ghana, joined Simba on a two-year deal last year.

He showcased his abilities in the Ghana Premier League with Bechem before making the move to Tanzania.

Although he made an instant impact by scoring his first goal for Simba during a pre-season friendly against Egyptian side Ismaily SC, Okrah struggled to secure regular playing time throughout the season.

The 29-year-old winger rose to prominence during his debut season with Bechem United in the 2013/14 league campaign, where he impressively netted 16 goals

After his successful stint with Bechem United, Okrah had loan spells with Swedish club BK Hacken before joining Sudanese powerhouse Al Merreikh

In addition to his domestic experiences, Okrah has also played for NorthEast United in India and Smouha SC in Egypt during his career.
