Mohammed Polo criticizes Hearts of Oak management for club’s inconsistent form

Mohammed Polo, a former coach and player of Hearts of Oak, has placed the responsibility for the club’s failure to win the Ghana Premier League squarely on the shoulders of the management.

The club started the season with Samuel Boadu, but after a slow start, he was sacked and replaced by Serbian coach Slavko Matic.

Polo, a club legend, believes that the management’s poor decision-making is to blame if Hearts of Oak fail to win the title

He criticized Matic’s decision to dismiss senior players without giving them a chance to prove themselves and said that if the team fails to win the league, the management should take the blame

“The management has a problem because they appointed Slavko Matic but the fans sacked him and that indicates that the management did a poor job,” he told Kumasi-based Pure FM.

“When Matic was appointed, he sacked senior players without giving them the opportunity to prove themselves.

“For me, if the club fail to win the Premier League, the management must be blamed,” he added.
