Black Stars to be without four influential players for Angola return leg

On Monday, Ghana will play Angola in the reverse fixture of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers without the participation of four key players, namely Captain Andre Ayew, Alexander Djiku, Denis Odoi, and Mohammed Salisu due to various injury issues.

Djiku, who also sustained an injury during the same game, was excused from traveling with the team.

Odoi, a defender for Club Brugge, was reported to have finished the game with an injury problem and will not participate in Monday’s game.

Salisu, who recently returned from an injury, was declared unfit for the games upon reporting for the camp

As of now, the Black Stars are leading Group E with seven points from three games.
