Speaking in an interview on Star Connect, the 24-year-old has revealed the role of a left-back was given to him when he moved to Gomoa Fetteh to play for the Feyenoord academy.

“When I went there from the Milo Games, there were lots of players from all the regions and I was picked

A lot of players were there as midfielders, wingers and strikers so I thought switching the left-back would help me.

“So I played as a left-back in my final weeks and once they took me, I started playing left-back from there.”
