Dampare’s removal borne out of emotions and not substance- Franklin Cudjoe

President of Imani Africa, Franklin Cudjoe is of the view that the decision to sack Dampare was not borne out emotions rather than substance.
George Akuffo Dampare has been removed as Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service (IGP).
He has been replaced with Christian Tetteh Yohuno who is expected to transform the police service.
There are mixed reactions to the decision taken by the president.
While police officers are happy with the decision, CSOs are not in support of the decision to remove Dampare.
Commenting on this, Franklin Cudjoe in a post via social media said “The day our leaders will make important decisions based on evidence rather than on hearsay and emotions we would have arrived”.
