Another scuffle has erupted during the collation of the Ablekuma North parliamentary results.
Wednesday's disagreement centered on the inclusion of a disputed pink sheet, which has delayed the process.
Earlier, a Presiding Officer for one of the polling stations in Ablekuma North, Nathaniel Klimsman Avumeh denied authenticating figures from his polling station ahead of a subsequent collation.
Tensions escalated when a party official slammed the table of the Electoral Commission (EC) officials, triggering chaos from opposing party members and leading to a brief physical altercation.
Police officers intervened to prevent further disruptions.
As of 5:30 PM today, five out of the seven outstanding pink sheets have been dealt with.
The EC and the parties are having a meeting over the remaining two.
However, the NPP candidate, Akua Afriyie, who had been absent during the collation process, was just ushered in by Evans Nimako.
The High Court had earlier ordered the EC to finalise the collation for Ablekuma North and three other constituencies.
While the collation for the other three constituencies was completed and declared in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the Ablekuma North process remains incomplete.
