Mustapha dares Wontumi to attempt any wrong move in the Ashanti Region

Deputy General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande has threatened to deal with the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako known widely as Chairman Wontumi if he makes any wrong move in the region during the elections.
During an interview with Onua FM, Mustapha Foyo Gbande emphasized that the NPP will not be allowed to rig the elections in Ashanti Region come December 7.
“They won’t rig the ballot papers this year. They will not. Nana Addo said Wontumi will bring the results. We will surround him like a wall and he won’t move an inch. If Wontumi is a man let him attempt any wrong move in the Ashanti Region.” He dared the NPP Executive
According to him, the NDC neither has plan to rig the upcoming elections nor does the party have any plans to cause chaos or violence but the party will extend any gesture extended to them by any party in full force.
He disclosed that Chairman Wontumi has been threatening Kofi Boakye, the former Police Commissioner who is working with the NDC in the Ashanti Region, warning that the NDC will prosecute any police officer who misconduct himself during the elections when they assume power in 2025.
