Bernard Don Bortey, a legend of Accra Hearts of Oak, is optimistic that his former side will massacre their arch rivals in the Betpawa Premier League Super Clash on Sunday in Kumasi.
The Phobians will travel to Kumasi to play as guests to the Porcupine Warriors who last week suffered an embarrassing exit from the CAF Champions league after losing 1:3 via penalty shout-outs to RC Kadiago.
Ahead of the crucial game, Don Bortey, who tormented Kotoko in such big games during his playing days, is hopeful of a big win for the FA Cup Champions.
” Hearts of oak will beat KUMASI Asante Kotoko on Sunday at Baba Yara Stadium,” Bortey told Kumasi-based Boss FM.
He added that: “How can this Asante Kotoko use this inexperienced players to beat Hearts of Oak on Sunday, my fear for Kotoko is that they should be careful else Hearts will score them 4 goals to nil like we did to them sometime ago.”
Meanwhile, referee Selorm Yao Bless, has been appointed to officiate the big game on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The center referee will be assisted by Patrick Papala and Tijani Mohammed with Adam Mubarak as the 4th ref and Adam Mukaila as match commissioner.
The betPawa Premier League enters the third week this weekend.
