Tonto Dikeh Exposed After Falling For A Dr UN Scam In Nigeria And Receiving Fake UN Award

Why are celebrities always eager to be awarded they do not even care where the award is coming from? It’s like a mental illness they all suffer from.

Last year numerous Ghanaian celebrities were ridiculed after falling into the trap of a scammer known as Dr UN who held a fake UN awards scheme and managed to get numerous top celebrities including Sarkodie, Berla Mundi and D-Black to happily show up to receive the fake award.

Gospel singer Sonnie Badu has also been in the news over the past few days due to his obsession with fake honorary degrees. What is wrong with these celebrities?

Over in Nigeria, Nollywood bad girl Tonto Dikeh is also in trouble after receiving an apparently fake award from a potential scammer.

Tonto a few days back took to her social media pages to brag about being awarded by the U.N and receiving a UN appointment.

“I was just honored as a UNITED NATIONS NOBLE INTERNATIONAL AMBASSADOR for the United Nations RESCUE SERVICES,” Tonto proudly wrote on her IG.

However, the BBC has determined the award scheme is fake after contacting the Director of United Nations Information Centre for Nigeria, Ronald Kayanja.

According to him, the award is fake and illegal and nothing of that sort exists.

This simply means Tonto has probably been duped, the same way Dr UN managed to dupe all those Ghanaian celebrities.

Seriously, when did awards start looking like number plates?
