Antonio Rudiger calls Kepa Arrizabalaga 'my brother' as Chelsea stars make-up after training scrap

Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea squad are one big happy family again, as Kepa Arrizabalaga and Antonio Rudiger have put their training-ground bust-up behind them.

The Blues' Cobham training ground was a tense place to be the morning after a 5-2 defeat to West Brom at Stamford Bridge last week, and it kicked-off between the two stars.

The German went in for a late tackle on the Spaniard and there was pushing and arguing between the pair, before the centre-back was sent into the dressing-room early by Tuchel.

Wednesday night's 2-0 victory over Porto in the Champions League has certainly lifted the mood, and the pair have now left their spat behind.

Rudiger posted a shot of the two players arm-in-arm last season on his Instagram, writing ‘Mi Hermano (my brother)' along with a heart emoji.

The keeper responded with three blue heart emoji's, letting their fans know that as will well within the Blues camp.

Both players stayed on the bench during the Premier League defeat but Tuchel brought Rudiger back into the side on Wednesday, and the centre-back helped his side to a valuable clean-sheet.

West Brom handed Tuchel is first defeat since replacing Frank Lampard, and Chelsea will hope the shock result will jolt them back to their best in search of Champions League football.

The Blues lie fifth, a point behind London rivals West Ham above them, with Spurs and Liverpool hot on their tail two points back.
