The Lebanese capital of Beirut has become the centre of worldwide attention after a massive explosion hit a building in the area.
A video of the moment has hit social media, showing the exact moment the building, which was on fire, went up in a massive explosion resembling a nuclear bomb.

The BBC reports that the explosion occurred in the port region of the city.
It is not immediately clear what caused the explosion and official casualty numbers are yet to be released.
A BBC journalist at the scene reported dead bodies and severe damage.
It has been suggested by local media that the explosion may have been caused by the initial fire reaching an explosives depot in the area.
