Video of tricycles abandoned in bush by government pop up

- A video of tricycles which was purchased by the NDC government government has surfaced online

- The tricycles have been abandoned in a bush as they rot away under the mercy of sunshine and rainfall

- It was revealed that the tricycles were bought for distribution to poor farmers across the country

YEN.com.gh has come across a video involving plenty tricycles as they have been abandoned in a bush at a warehouse.

According to sources, the tricycles were bought by the John Mahama led NDC administration when they were in power.

In the video, the tricycles which numbered over 200 was seen lying bare and unused under the sun in a bush.

Other containers which were in the same yard was said to be full of the same tricycles bought by the previous government.

The tricycles were said to have been bought for the distribution to poor farmers across the farming communities in Ghana.

It is however surprising that the tricycles bought for farming have been abandoned and left to rot under the weather.

Facebook users who watched the video expressed anger at the previous and current government for abandoning the tricycles.

They claimed that even if the previous government abandoned them, the current Akufo-Addo led government should have put them to good use.

In other news, 118 NDC officials have picked forms to contest for the various parliamentary seats in Greater Accra.

Among them is former Executive Director of National Service Secretariat, Dr. Michael Kpessah Whyte and actor John Dumelo.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary primaries will see actor John Dumelo compete with Suzzy Afua Adoboe for the seat.

Dumelo had earlier come forward to contest the NDC primaries for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency when that seat became vacant following the death of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.
