Corrupt Mahama appointees would be jailed very soon – Wontumi assures

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias Chairman Wontumi has charged Ghanaians to brace up for "good news” as corrupt officials under the erstwhile Mahama administration would be jailed very soon.

The event followed a well-attended fitness walk through the principal streets of the Asawase Constituency, which started from Aboabo Post Office and ended on the Grunsah Park.

Various wings within the party, including identifiable groups and fun clubs, attended the event in their thousands, clad in NPP apparel and chanted to NPP songs.

Chairman Wontumi sounded a word of caution to the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former President, John Dramani Mahama to forego his ambition of annexing the presidency again because Ghanaians would not allow any “corrupt” person back to that office.

He said “corruption is in the blood of John Mahama, since it has been passed onto him by his father and has affected all his brothers and NDC members”.
