We Will Empower Security Forces To Do Their Work - Carlos Ahenkorah

NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema West constituency, Carlos Ahenkorah says President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government will give the needed authority to the security agencies to do their work as the laws of the land demand of them.

He said, this government under President Nana Akufo-Addo will not in any way compromise bad deeds from any political party, even though members of the NDC have admitted they are very violent.

“We will empower security forces to do their work and not take power into our hands as the largest opposition party has planned to embark on,” he said.

On UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ panel discussion programme, Carlos Ahenkorah emphasized that whatever Ofosu-Ampofo is going through today is the consequences of his own wrong doing.

“I have known Ofosu-Ampofo since 1985 and very much surprised he made those comments to his party communicators as the party's National Chairman,” he said.

Carlos Ahenkorah continued that when Ofosu-Ampofo was voted as the Chairman of the NDC he believed of going to see Christian cultures introduced into the NDC party based on the background he knew him to be coming from, not knowing he was going to continue the already recognized dire deeds of the party.
