Choose Progress and Stability Over Chaos - Richard Ahiagbah

The Director of Communications of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah has said that, in the unlikely event where former President Mahama wins the upcoming December Presidential polls, he will be like a lame duck who's tenure will be filled with chaos.  He said on his twitter platform that the former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has already alluded to the fact that it is impossible to transform a country in four years.

Richard Ahiagbah then questioned that, if the former President admits that a country cannot be transformed in four years, then why is the former President coming back to contest when he knows he can only have four years, if voted into office.  He said that, a vote for former President Mahama and the NDC, is a vote that will not augur well for Ghanaians, especially the Ghanaian youths. "The 2024 election is critical for Ghana’s future, and must be about more than just ideas and visions.

We must consider how much time a candidate has to implement their plans. "Former President Mahama has admitted that it’s impossible to transform a country in four years.

He further added that, if former President Mahama wins, he will be a lame who will not be able to know his left from his right. "Furthermore, if Mahama wins, he will be a lame duck from day one.

The struggle for leadership within the NDC will begin immediately, leading to chaos and uncertainty for our nation. "We need a leader who can hit the ground running and tackle our country’s challenges head-on.
