A former deputy minister of information in the Mahama administration, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has thrown a shade at the vice president and leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as the flatfooted head of the Economic Management Team.  According to the member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, the vice president has not proven himself worthy of who he portrayed himself to be when the NPP was in opposition. "10 years ago today, the NPP and the Central University, fabricated an 'acdemic role' for Bawumia solely dedicated to propaganda on the economy.

Today, he has gone down in infamy and ignominy as no more than an economic charlatan as the cedi collapses right under his nose."  Felix Kwakye Ofosu made these assertions on his X platform on Monday, March 25, 2024.  Posting about the current state of the Ghana cedi, Felix Kwakye Ofosu wrote, "The Ghana cedi now exchanges at GHS 13.75 to a dollar.

Recall that Bawumia, the flatfooted head of the Economic Management Team, held lectures in opposition [PA1], purporting to teach us how to manage exchange rates.
