Injunction On Ga Manye's Funeral Was

Justice of the High Court of Accra, Justice Patrick Baayeh has rescinded his ruling on the Interim Injunction granted on 25" October, 2023 in relation to the funeral of the late Ga Manye, Naa Dedei Omaedru III.The organizers of the funeral service for the late Ga Manye, Naa Dedei Omaedru III, had earlier stated they will proceed with the ceremony on Saturday, despite being slapped with an injunction.Justice Patrick Baayeh on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 ORDERED that;"Defendants/Respondents or the Funeral Committee chaired by Nil Otintor II, all members of the committee, their privics, workmen, assigns and all persons working through them are restrained from handling, organizing, touching performing or dealing with the remained of the Late Queen Mother, Naa Dedei Omaedro Ill in any manner for a period of ten (10) days."The funeral hit a snag following an injunction secured against it by some interested parties.

"The Applicants failed to give the Court the true state of affairs."In fairness to the parties therefore, the Order of Interim Injunction granted on 25% October, 2023 is hereby set aside.
