Galamseyers have burnt down 12 vehicles including an Ambulance at Golden Star Resources, a mining site at Wassa Benso in the Western Region following disturbances between members of the community and the mining company.Gerald Osei Boakye, Senior Manager confirmed the damage to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's 'kokrokoo' programme.The disturbances at the mining site had resulted in the death of one person, injured four others, and some properties belonging to the company were also destroyed, the police said.Police have since beefed up security in Wassa Benso and its environs..
