The Management of Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) in the Western Region has apologized to residents of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis for their inability to supply water to the Metropolis since the evening of Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

The company said it was due to a problem with the power supply to both Daboase and Inchaban Water Treatment Plants.A statement issued by Nana Yaw Barima Barnie, Western and Central Regional Communications Manager of GWCL, and copied to the GNA, indicated that the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) had three of their pylons fell off last Tuesday evening during the downpour.
