Yaw Danso has asked a journalists who was seeking to know his whereabouts to tell Members of his Assembly that he is dead reason why he has not been seen in the office for some time.Assembly Members o the District have complained bitterly about the absence of the District Chief Executive(DCE) halting government business in the district.They bemaoned the absence of the appointing indicating that it has affected productivity in the District as no important decision has been taken concerning the development of the District in recent times.When Obuasi Television; an online-based Television contacted the District Chief Executive on his whereabouts, he told the reporter to tell the Assemblymen that he is dead.“Tell them I’m dead, I’m dead,” he retorted when asked where he has been and why he cannot be found by Assembly Members.

Meanwhile, there are efforts by a group of Assembly Members to pass a vote of no confidence in the missing District Chief Executive(DCE).The Assembly Members who have begun the vote of no confidence processes against the DCE have accused him of causing divisions within them, keeping motorbikes meant for them, and inciting community members against them.However, the move has been opposed by some section of the Assembly Members who believe their colleagues want to create confusion in the area.
