Ghanaian Forward Albert Adomah Wins 'Player Of The Year' Award At Aston Villa


Former Black Stars winger Albert Adomah has been voted as the player of the year by fellow players of the English Championship side Aston Villa.

Adomah was elected by his fellow players as the best player of the season, after a stellar year leading the line for the side which is battling to return to the English Premier League.

Adomah has scored 14 goals in 37 appearances in the season, leading Villa to fourth place in the league as they chase a top two finish for an automatic premier league place.

At the club’s End of Season awards, the entire playing body agreed Adomah deserved to pick up the honour.

Capped at international level for Ghana, the 30 year old has played 18 times for the Black Stars, scoring two goals, but has found himself out of the team in recent times.
