Appiah Stadium Goes Beserk! …Descends On Mutaka
The National Democratic Congress’ Appiah Stadium on Thursday went into uncontrollable tantrums and vituperative verbals attack at the forecourt of the parliament in Accra.

The object of his raving and ranting was the honourable MP for Asawase, Kumasi, Mohammed Muntaka.

The crime of the Member of Parliament was that he had prevented Appiah Stadium from accosting for President John Mahama for money.

“Look at him, this man also calls himself an MP, my foot, this useless and hopeless man. No wonder NDC is out of power. This man doesn’t deserve to be an MP in Ghana’s parliament at ll.” Appiah Stadium fumed and bleated.

“If you won’t give me money and someone else is ready to give me money, why should you prevent that person. This is absolute nonsense. I will deal with him when he comes to Kumasi, the son of harlot (Ashawo ba),” he roared.

Inquires established that former President John Dramani Mahama had paid his respects to the late Kofi Annan at ICC and hopeful of garnering some votes, had crossed over the Parliament House and the Job 600 edifice to confer with NDC MPs.

Appiah Stadium, who apparently heard that John Mahama was in the vicinity, rushed there to ‘scrape’ the former president but according to him he was prevented by Hon Muhammed Muntaka, leading to the vituperations.

In spite of pleas by standards that the place was not appropriate for his actions, Appiah Stadium would not be stopped. It was at the funeral rites of the esteemed personality; Busumuru Kofi Annan. Worse still, people of all walks of life had thronged there; MPs, chiefs, ambassadors, presidents and others.

All this happened at the full glare of the maverick Akumpreku himself; Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, MP for Assin Central who has had lots of verbal banter with the person in question on various airwaves; as well as Hon. O B Amoah, MP for Aburi and a host of other Ghanaian MPs.

In fact viewers were horrified and infuriated by his uncouth behavior. A reporter who tried to intervene received his acidic share of the unprintable attacks, to the extent of casting innuendos on the MPs present at the time.

Surprisingly none of them replied him.

Appiah Stadium is notorious for engaging in constant running battles with numerous personalities such as JJ Rawlings, J.A. Kuffour, Kennedy Agyapong, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Nana Akuffo Addo, Pastors, Chiefs, Bishops etc except his king Otumfuor Osei Tutut for fear of retribution and ostricisation.
