Bernard Kumordzi suffers early injury in Kortrijk's 3-0 defeat at Zulte-Waragem

Bernard Kumordzi suffered an injury during Kortrijk's 3-0 defeat at Zulte-Waragem in the Belgian Pro League Europa League playoffs on Friday.

The centre-back had to be substituted after 17 minutes and his position taken by Erik Palmer-Brown.

Kumordzi's absence at the back cost Kortrijk to some extent as they conceded three goals.

Kortrijk had won three and lost one in their previous four matches in the playoffs.

He is racing to be fit for Saturday's home match against Lierse.
