Black Stars Winning Bonus Remains US$ 5,000
The FIFA/CAF Liaison Team has decided to maintain US$ 5,000 as winning bonus for the Black Stars in next month's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.

The two-man team has been in-charge of international football since government closed down the Ghana Football Association.

This was after the airing of an investigative documentary by journalist Anas Armeyaw Anas where some officials were captured taking bribes.

"The players will be given US$ 5,000 as winning bonus. The government has made it clear to us (Liaison team) that the players will be given a cheque of cedi equivalent to the amount (U$ 5,000)," Spokesperson for the FIFA/CAF Liaison Team Dan Kwaku Yeboah told Oyerepa FM.

"But the only physical cash the players will receive is the per diem.''

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has released a list of 21 players for the qualifier and the team will camp in Ethiopia before flying over to Nairobi.
