Deputy Attorney General Diana Asonaba Dapaah has raised concerns about a growing disconnect between individuals' belief in their rights and freedoms and their understanding of the responsibilities that come with those rights.

Speaking in the wake of a chaotic demonstration at the Democracy Hub, which resulted in several arrests, she emphasized that this lack of balance has contributed to the current social and legal unrest.

In an interview on Pure FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Madam Diana explained, "Many people have a deep belief in their rights, but they forget that these rights come with responsibilities.

This attitude has led to a situation where some individuals feel entitled to act without accountability, often misunderstanding the law in their favor." Her comments came after numerous protesters were detained during the demonstration, which ended in disorder.
