Deputy Attorney General Diana Asonaba Dapaah has addressed concerns raised by Ghanaians regarding the government's handling of recent protests against illegal mining, commonly referred to as galamsey.

Following the arrest of several protesters, critics have questioned the government's commitment to upholding citizens' rights.

Dapaah reassured the public that President Nana Akufo-Addo, a respected lawyer and leader, is dedicated to protecting the rights of all Ghanaians.
