The Electoral Commission (EC) has stated it is committed to providing a robust and credible voters' register for a free and fair election this year.
Chairperson of the Commission, Jean Mensa made the statement during an IPAC meeting with political parties on Tuesday, October 1. "It is in our interest to produce credible and robust final voter's register…We urge you all and the citizens of Ghana to trust us.
We will not fail you; we will not disappoint you and we commit and pledge to conducting and undertaking a free, fair, transparent, and credible election come 2024," she said.
The EC Chairperson announced that the Commission has corrected all errors detected in the voters register.
