Government increases Continuous Professional Development allowance for teachers

The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Education has announced the increase in the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) allowance for both professional and non-professional teachers in pre-tertiary schools nationwide.

The CPD allowance for professional teachers has been increased from GHC 1,200 to GH02.400 annually.

Non-professional teachers will now receive Gilt 1,200 up from GHe800.

Payments for these revised amounts have already been made to teachers.
