Social media has been flooded with old pictures of the (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Amenfi Central, Juana Gyan, spotted working at a galamsey site.
In one of the pictures taken on July 24, 2016, the aspiring Member of Parliament is seen busily engaged in the gold extraction process in an area believed to be a forest.
In another picture, the young politician, who is nicknamed by some residents as 'Wassa Aisha Huang,' is seen leaning against some equipment used for galamsey, while in the company of a White man, and another person.
Another video of her in an interview with Delay, in which she confessed to being a 'galamseyer' has also re-surfaced. "I was eight years old when I started doing galamsey.
