Ghanaian radio presenter Nana Romeo has expressed his views on the recent #StopGalamsey protest, calling it a "waste of time." Speaking on UTV's United Showbiz on Saturday, he criticized the conduct of the protesters, stating, "You went to the police and informed them about your intention to demonstrate.
You even had specific routes you wanted to take, but the police deemed those routes inappropriate and provided approved alternatives.
However, on the day of the protest, you insisted on taking the unapproved routes." He went on to highlight the irony in the situation, saying, "As citizens who recognize that things aren't going well in the country and who claim to want order restored, how can you disregard the police's directives?
It shows a lack of discipline.
