A police officer whose name has been given as Evans has lost his life in a shootout with armed robbers at Kwame Peprakrom.
The incident, which took place on Saturday around 12 and 1 am, led to two others sustaining several degrees of injuries.
The officer is said to have been personnel at the Dunkwa Offin Divisional Police Headquarters Armory.
Reports indicate that the two other policemen are currently on admission at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
