Former Kumasi Mayor Michael Kojo Bonsu has declared that the Ashanti Region, a traditional stronghold of the (NPP), will not support the party in the upcoming December polls.
According to Kojo Bonsu, the NPP government has failed to fulfil numerous promises made to the region's residents during previous campaigns.
Despite the region's historical loyalty to the party, the NPP's unfulfilled commitments have led to widespread disillusionment.
He highlighted the region's lack of development despite being a key NPP base.
