The Melcom Care Foundation aftermost Thurs­day donated electrical accessories and added items to 25 medical centres and two organisations to abutment their operations

The beneficiaries of the refrigerators accommodate the Upper West Regional Hospital, Tamale Teaching Hospital, Upper East Regional Hospital, Ho Teaching Hospital, Ketu South Municipal Hospital, and Central Aflao Hospital

Some added beneficiaries are the Hohoe Government District Hospital, Sogakope District Hospital, Western Regional Hospital, Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, Swedru Government Hospital, Kasoa Central Clinic, and Eastern Regional Hospital

The blow are the Kwehu Government Hospital, Sunyani Teaching Hospital, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Police Hospital, 37 Military Hospital, Greater Accra Region­al Hospital, National Cardio­thoracic Centre, University of Ghana Medical Centre, Tema General Hospital, the Trust Hospital, Lapaz Community Hospital, and Healthnet Airport Medical Centre. The two added institutions are the Ghana Journalists Associ­ation (GJA) and the Disaster Re­silience Network Ghana (DRN), while the accessories accommodate medical refrigerators, televisions, beef irons, fans, rice cookers, and furniture

The GJA accustomed arcade vouchers and two television sets for winners in two cate­gories of the accessible GJA awards, while the DRN Ghana accustomed arcade vouchers, one Kenwood beef iron, one Akai continuing fan, and a rice cooker

The Group Director of Communications at Melcom Group Companies, Mr Godwin Avernogbo, said that the dona­tion was in band with the founda­tion's charge to bridging gaps in healthcare abetment amid burghal and rural areas

The Joint Group Manag­ing Directors of Melcom, Mr Manesh Melwani and Mr Ramesh Sadhwani, took turns presenting the items to repre­sentatives of the beneficiaries

On account of the beneficia­ries, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Blood Service, Dr Shirley Phyllis Ohenewa Owusu-Ofori, thanked Melcom for the gesture
