Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has described the action of the Democracy Hub protesters in blocking roads during their demonstration as a publicity stunt.

He said they did that action just to get the attention of duty-bearers to listen to their demands. "In any serious country they would not have been arrested and charged, blocking the roads is just a publicity stunt, it is something you do differently to draw the attention of duty-bearers.

They are political prisoners, they haven't done any crime," Kpebu said on the Key Points on TV3 Saturday, September 28.

Kpebu further condemned the Police for not allowing lawyers and relatives of the protesters who were arrested for allegedly blocking roads and taking the key of the Police car, to access them.
