The Private Health Facilities Association of Ghana (PHFAoG) has extended high praise to the Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr.
Da-costa Aboagye, and his team for their steadfast commitment to settling outstanding claims, which has greatly alleviated the financial burden on healthcare providers.
In a communique issued after their 4th Annual General Conference, held from September 18th to 20th, 2024, the Association highlighted the unprecedented release of over GH¢800 million to clear claims submitted between April and July 2024.
This came shortly after a prior disbursement of GH¢151 million in August to cover claims from March.
