The Ghana Police Service has denied claims that one of the suspects arrested near the 37 Military Hospital in Accra during the Democracy Hub group's demonstration is pregnant.
Media reports allege that Gloria Vera Louise, who has been remanded in custody for two weeks, is four months pregnant.
However, in a statement, the Police Service clarified that at the time of her arrest, there was no visible indication of pregnancy.
Furthermore, at no point during the arrest or subsequent interactions did the suspect inform the Police of her pregnancy.
