SOME members of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) from across the regions have arrived in Accra to attend an Emergency General Meeting (EGM) of the Association at the Ghana International Press Centre in Accra, on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11am prompt.

A press release signed by the General Sercretary, Kofi Yebiah said "The EGM has the same powers of the Annual General Meeting, the highest decision-making body of the GJA." "It is open to all members in good standing whose decisions on Friday shall be binding on the Association," Mr Yeboah wrote.

The EGM shall consider the following business: Discuss the General Secretary's Annual Report (2023); Discuss the audited accounts of the Association (2022-2023) to be presented by the National Treasurer, and Any other business  Read also: GJA releases nominees for 28th Media Awards
