A member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Communicators, Ms Ellen Ama Daaku has lauded the Ghana Police Service for arresting the protesters who went vandalizing property describing them as hooligans.
During an interview on TV3's NewDay on the arrest and detention of some protesters of the Democracy Hub, Ellen Ama Daaku stated that the NPP will not release any statement to condemn the act.
According to her, the Ghana Police Service did well by arresting these protesters who promised to be law-abiding but resorted to breaking the law with impunity. "The NPP will not release any statement about this issue because we don't know about them.
We've left it to the police to deal with it.
