, Independent Presidential Candidate and Founder of the Movement for Change (M4C) has expressed worry over concerns of compromised data with respect to the 2024 provisional voters register.
According to him, resolving the concerns raised by the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) would ensure credibility in the pending elections.
In a letter to the (EC) on September 23, 2024, he urged the Commission to rectify the anomalies in the register, pointed out by the NDC, emphasising that the integrity of the elections depends largely on the register.
He proposed the establishment of five collaborative measures to address the discrepancies the NDC has identified in the register, including the establishment of a high-level Technical Working Group (TWG) which will include representatives of candidates cleared to contest the general elections, as well as consultants responsible for the EC data management.
