The Ghana Police Service has announced that two suspects arrested during the Democracy Hub demonstration on Sunday, September 21, have been sent to the Police Hospital for medical care, following their complaints of ill health.
In a press release dated September 25, 2024, the Ghana Police Service stated that one of the Suspects, Fanny Otoo, who had stated that he was indisposed due to ill health when others were being prepared for court, was immediately sent to the Police Hospital in Accra, where he was admitted for thorough medical care.
Another suspect, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has also been taken to the Police Hospital to undergo further medical examination after he had allegedly reported sick on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
According to the police report, he has also been admitted to the police Hospital in Accra.
